Acrylic painted objects in aquarium?

Is it okay to put something glass or ceramic that I painted myself with acrylic paints in an aquarium?

Also, I have this dollar store tiki man, labeled as "polystone" and painted that I'm not sure about.

No, especially not that dollar store tiki man. You must be sure that anything you put in your fish tank is safe for fish, and the only way you can do that is to buy your decor from a pet store or fish dealer. Not all ceramics and plastics are the same. Many leach hazardous metals and chemicals in the water, and there is no way to test for this. (I've seen stuff designed for reptiles say that it's not safe for fish bowls, so be sure to read tags, too, in the pet store.) Even stuff that would be safe to eat off of wouldn't be safe if left to sit in water for an extended period of time. Please stick with pet store decor. It will say if safe for fish or not.
