my young daughter was 'cleaning' and decided to wipe down a set of batteries with a damp paper towel?
are they still usable? or should i toss them? i don't know much about batteries and don't know if water contact is damaging.
also, i was wondering if it is hazardous now that the battery has come in contact with water?
Regular AA or AAA batteries should not be damaged by some contact with water.
Unless water has lots of impurities like minerals, it is non-conductive.
Dry them up well, and try them on equipment, they should work fine.
