Seashell Bath

Decorating our retro bathroom?
I already asked this question once, but I thought that I should elaborate a bit more. We just bought a house. In the main bath room is a built in shelve from floor to ceiling, probably about 7 ft tall, the shelves are narrow, like 4 inches deep maybe 2 ft long. All of our bathroom supplies are tucked away neatly in cubards. The bathroom has more of a retro feel, black and white shower curtain, black and white towels, black and silver accesories, grey walls...you get the idea. The problem is that I don't know what to put on this shelving unit, like I said they are not very deep, just enough to put a candle without it falling off, LOL! So obviously I'm going with some candles, maybe some black and white pictures (not of people, since that would be weird). Other than that I don't know what else I could put up there for decotations, without it being to "girly". I'm not really into the typical bathroom decorations, like seashells and sand. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
You could always buy a chrome napkin holder and put a rolled up wash cloth in it. If you could find some small chrome canisters to put on the shelves you could fill them with girly things and no one will know any different. Maybe stick a couple of Coca-cola memorabilia to add a little more color to your bathroom. You could maybe find a chrome magazine rack also. I hope I helped give you some ideas that might work for you.
