is it possible to sharpen a knife with "convex blade" using the sharpening tools like gatco?
i have a switchblade that is shaped somewhat similar to kukri (i'd call that concave). i cannot figure out how it would be possible to sharpen this knife with any flat sharpening tool. Hints?
I believe gatco or lanskey have a serrated edge and or convex blade sharpening stones with guide.
If not, buy a round or half or 1/4 round sharpening stone and use with or without homemade wire guide. Buy the round or partial round stone of the correct diameter. And buy several. Like coarse, medium, fine, to make sharpening experience more cheerful and fast.
