why do they have hands-free soap if your washing your hands?

It doesnt make any sense to me to make a handsfree soap pump for washing you hands. Arent your hands gonna get clean anyway

I'm glad someone else noticed. Every time I see that ad I can't figure out why you would want a handsfree soap pump when the very first thing you do after you use the soap pump is.......wash your hands. Makes me wonder if they have doubts about the product's ability to remove germs.
