Dish Tumbler


My starbucks plastic tumbler smells really bad, how can i get rid of the smell?

i left some coffee in it a while ago and now it smells rancid. i know, my fault, but there has to be a way of cleaning out that smell!

its a plastic tumbler,

i've tried dish detergent and baking soda to no avail...i cant imagine bleach would be a good idea since i'll be drinking from it

any ideas?

Baking soda is awesome. Another easy way is to crumple up a piece of newspaper and put it in the tumbler with the lid on. Leave it overnight. Newspaper also absorbs odors. Or you can soak it in a sink full of water with a cup of vinegar added to it. Good Luck!
